To keep the competition fair and ensure everyone aligned, here is a quick clarification of the official rules. ⚖️ The Point Bump: Round of 32 vs. Round of 16 We noticed some players expected the higher point tier to start early. To clarify: Round of 32: Follows standard scoring — you get 6 points for a perfect score and 3 points for the right Round of 16 Onward: This is where the stakes permanently jump! From the Round of 16 all the way to the Finals, base points automatically double to 14 points for an exact score and 7 points for the right result. ⏱️ The 120-Minute Rule (Extra Time Counts!) Your predictions don't stop when the clock hits 90 minutes. Match predictions cover the full 120 minutes of active play, including any extra time halves. For example, if a game ends 1-1 in regular time, but a team scores during extra time to finish the match 2-1, the official scoring system will use 2-1 as the final result to grant points. 🥅 Penalty Shootouts Are Not Considered What if the teams are still deadlocked after 120? Penalty shootouts are completely excluded from the prediction scoreline. If a match goes to penalties, it means the game officially ended as a draw at the end of extra time (e.g., 1-1 or 2-2). Whatever that tied score is at the 120-minute mark will be treated as the final result for your points. Double-check your upcoming fixtures, use your remaining Double Downs wisely.

But let's be honest: nobody wants to share the crown 👑 To ensure there is only one true champion at the top of your table, we have officially rolled out an automated Tie-Breaker System based on your prediction skills! 🎯 How It Works From now on, if two or more players are leveled on total points, the leaderboard will automatically break the tie using the following rule: * The Bullseye Factor: The player with the most exact-score predictions (6 or 14 points) takes the higher spot on the league table. * New Dashboard Column: We’ve added a dedicated Bullseye (🎯) column to all private league tables. You can now track exactly how many perfect scores you and your friends have nailed in real time! Nailing the exact scoreline takes serious football IQ. This feature directly rewards high-risk, high-reward tactical play. You might have the same total points as your league leader, but if you've got more Bullseyes, you take the throne!

The Double Down is a high-stakes modifier that allows you to boost your points on the matches you are most confident about. Use it correctly, and you’ll cruise to the top of your league; use it poorly, and you waste a golden opportunity. The Golden Rule When you apply a Double Down to a match, any points you earn from that game are multiplied by 2! Nailed the exact score? Instead of 6 points, you get 12 points. Got the right result but wrong score? Instead of 3 points, you get 6 points. Got the prediction completely wrong? You get 0 times 2 = 0 points. No penalties, just a wasted multiplier. The Catch You can't double down on every game early on. You have a strictly limited supply during the opening stages of the tournament: - 10 doubles down slots during Group Stage. - Only 1 double down during Round of 32. That's it. Onward, the double down is gone, but every match has higher stakes (7 and 14)! May the VAR decisions be ever in your favor. Good luck!

Once you use them, they're gone! 🛑 The Cutoff: From the Round of 16 onward, the Double Downs are gone. But, stakes remain high as points are more than doubled for every single match. Look for the new Double Down toggle right on your match cards to lock in your confident picks. Just like our recent league management updates, this feature was built directly from a member's request.
